The vacuum generated by the blowers at the tip on the suction nozzle (1) causes the air stream (2) to flow towards the nozzle picking up the material particles (3) and drawing them along the pipeline (4). To control the proportion of air and material, for better capacities when unloading different materials, the false air bypass (5) is adjusted.
The suction pipeline is connected to the separating filter (6) via a cylindrical joint (7). At the exit of the pipe the stream of the mixed material and air looses its speed because it leaves the narrow pipe and enters the wide filter. Here the particles of the the material fall down to the filter cone (8) and the air goes up to the filter bags (9).
The bags are made from a cloth material that allows the air to pass through, trapping the dust particles outside of the filter bags.
To reduce the amount of dust reaching the filter bags the separating filter has big diameter and height.
The cleaned air (10) continues its way to the suction blowers (not shown) via the air pipe (11) where it is blown out via a silencers (not shown) into the atmosphere.
The filter bags are periodically cleaned with a pulsating stream of compressed air (12) that is supplied by the compressed air system (13).
The dust particles adhering to the outer surface of the bags fall down to the filter cone.
The filter housing is dimensioned in such a way, that the speed of the ascending air flow outside the filter bags is lower than the suspended velocity of the dust particles to ensure that they are moving downwards.
The purpose of the rotary airlock (14) is to remove the material accumulated in the filter's cone and pass it further (15) to the conveying line without letting atmospheric air to get inside the filter which is under low pressure (vacuum). Some portions of air still get back to the filter in the emptied chambers (16) between the blades (17) of the rotor. However when the gap between the blades and the internal surface (18) of the housing become large (more than 0.4 mm) then the airlock starts to pass more atmospheric air back to the filter and cause decrease of unloading capacity.
NEUERO has developed a unique filter cleaning system that does not require providing compressed air and has increased reliability.
